When disaster isn’t even in sight (or mind), be mindful to cover what’s yours.

There are but a few things truly under human control — and those must be counted, checked, covered, and confirmed from all safety and risk angles.

In the shipping industry, it’s a given that every cargo should be covered by insurance. But ask yourself — is that really enough? What about the far-reaching consequences in the aftermath of an unforeseen event — God forbid?

This is where clarity, coverage, and confirmation become non-negotiable.

Your priority — and I repeat, PRIORITY — should be to align with a seasoned, expert, and responsive Marine & Air Cargo Insurance advisor. One who ensures your cargo insurance is fast, simple, and stress-free, so you can focus on clearing shipments, not chasing policies.

In an industry where every hour counts, delays aren’t just inconvenient — they’re costly. That’s why it’s only natural to choose someone who offers not just easy and smooth, but also exclusive cargo insurance solutions — tailored to your unique cargo and situation.

We, at GIMA, advise and urge in our service locations  particularly across Mumbai, Kandla, Mundra, that Clearing & Forwarding Agents, Freight Forwarders, and Logistics Companies to  note  where the volume is high, timelines are tight, and the margin for error is razor-thin , and make adequate  insurance provisions, accordingly.

Environmental damage was severe: plastic and chemical pollution, damage to marine life, beaches, mangroves.

In the midst of the global uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic — while economies were in free fall and supply chains stretched to their breaking point — an incident unfolded that exposed just how vulnerable cargo can be without robust, responsive insurance coverage…
