Immediate Inspection at Destination (Delay in intimation may affect claim admissibility.)

Notify the Insurer Without Delay
Appoint Surveyor at Overseas Location and Domestic locations, in case of export and import, respectively. (Do not dispose of damaged goods without surveyor’s approval.)

Issue Notice of Claim to Carrier / Bailee
Mitigate the Loss (All mitigation expenses should be documented.)
Compile Claim Documents
Assessment of Claim Amount

The insurer assesses claim based on:
